"It is better to live rich, than to die rich."

all those things

I worked all day on one thing except for answering some mail and a long phone call. It went OK. It needs to be done but I was displacing from the number one thing I need to do. I didn't clean up my office. Tomorrow, maybe.

At lunch, I went to a couple of stores looking for some things I needed for the parents' house. I stopped by Taco Bell and had three original crispy regular tacos and a Wild Cherry Pepsi. Is that awful or what?

I went to Randall's after work for my parents. Mom wanted some salad things and some bread. I wanted a longer phone cord to reach the computer. (Of course, when I got over there, she'd moved the furniture so it was no longer needed. Oh, well.) I never shop so it was unbelievably hard for me to gather up two tomatoes, some green onions, a loaf of bread, an apple, some lettuce and salad dressing. And the phone cord. While I waited in line a Dell Guy came up behind me and he had Noxema, razor blades, a candy bar and a Robert Mondavi Coastal Chardonnay (chilled). He read the 'Us' magazine while he waited. Don't know if he bought it. What an evening he had in mind.

The parents are officially moved in I think. It's a matter of moving, decorating arranging now. Mom has all these collections. Argh. I should talk.

Mom was deciding what family pictures to put on the walls and on some shelves. An old picture needed framing. Some family pictures were in cheap awful frames. Can't fix everything. Recommended leaving a bunch of them in a box, putting up this one and that one.

Hey...I'm going to go out sometime soon and see something more interesing than someone else's grocery store purchases. I promise.
