not that good a beginning

I'm not that late getting out of bed. But where does the time go? I'm not off to the club until 12:30. I finished up my budgeting duties I know. And watched the stock market go up, briefly heard the president have a word or two about stuff from Crawford, ate a grapefruit and another snack, had coffee, read some papers.

I do a long workout, though. When I get there all the recumbent bikes (there are three) are in use. I use a treadmill for fifteen minutes, look around and they are all empty. I do 45 minutes on the bike and then a bunch of arm exercises. I hear that you need to change the machine you use if you do stuff almost daily but I'm hooked on the recumbent bike. I like the rowing machine but you can't read while using it. Riding the bike and reading is helping me catch up on reading.

I consider going up to Mt. Bonnell because the day is so pretty. But I don't. I go home, have a late lunch of leftovers from Dad's party (deviled eggs, some vegies and dip, an Italian bread thing) and do some surfing looking for some things in New York. The mail comes and I sort through it. I call some people, e-mail some people. One of our web hosts is messing up and I send some e-mail on that and talk to Forrest.

Poof....the day is gone and it's evening.

Evening. So, OK I watch two episodes of CSI. And that show about missing persons (Without a Trace?) and I read the papers that have stacked up the last few days and do a few crosswords, read a few Bridge columns.

I really wanted to do some of the 'clean, organize, straighten, throw out' projects today. Tomorrow. For sure.

What you wear does matter.
Unshowered, in ragged sweats.
I feel out of sorts.
FFP knots a tie.
So he doesn't forget things.
