Rebecca gets a cold weather sendoff from her pals

home again

It's good to be gone and, often, even better to get home again.

Dad and I are determined to get away and get home. So we are up and checked out by a few minutes after seven. There's is just nothing like heading home.

Home is being transformed, though. It's scary and encouraging all at once all the transformation and tearing up. The dumpster and Porta Potty and building materials and mess that will become...a new room.

I enjoy getting home and getting things unpacked even though I unpack into the disarray. I enjoy getting back to the gym, too, and proving that I will get back to it.

Our evening is homey, too, in our old haunts with many old friends.

JUST TYPING

There's really.
Nothing like home.
Even if it's being ripped apart.

Time flies....

Well...driving takes three hours. I washed up all my tupperware and unpacked everything but my laptop. I spent a couple of hours going to work out. Then we had a long meal and spent a few hours on a send-off for Rebecca at the Four Seasons bar.

Web we weave...these
days of our lives.

One year ago
"We go to the vast Restland cemetery. I don't have my map and initially I'm confused about where Mom is but I find it and look at the marker. We test out the knob on the top which reveals a metal vase you can flip over and fill with flowers. But we don't have any today."

Two years ago

"But it was the big picture that needed work, it turned out. Still does."
