dread and confidence

Is it possible to hold a sense of dread and a confidence in the future in your head at the same time. That was how I felt today.

Some jobs are hard. They are flak catchers. You don't have the power, or maybe the skill to do the job. So you can run and hide or catch flak. Guess what I choose. Well, about half the time anyway!

Watching Ken Burn's Jazz has tuned us in to the PBS shows around it. Why do I pay a hundred dollars a month for cable.

There was an article in today's Times about too many choices being a bad thing. It reminded a friend about my Rant on the Media or something else he read herein about the overwhelming input.

So why, you ask, am I adding to the stream? Because I can.
