AUSTIN, Texas, Dec 31, 2004 — Goodbye to the food diary. Begun (on the page-a-day form) in June 2003 with this entry: "Steak and potatoes for breakfast, nachos for lunch, pork chop, perogies, apple sauce and salad for dinner. Jack Daniels and water." I weighed about ten pounds more then. Certainly I won't promise that food won't appear in the new format. Certainly will. But it won't generally be isolated from the other matters.

Probably something else although I didn't find much time for eating.
