The Visible Woman
Watches

AUSTIN, Texas, June 29, 2004 — I've watched a lot of stuff since I posted here. I saw Coffee and Cigarettes (Jim Jarmusch) in Paris. I've seen most of an old 1973 flick with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie (Don't Look Now, rented from Netflix). I've screened about twenty shorts and features for the Austin Film Festival. Not allowed to comment but I will say that if what I've seen is any indication it will be a great festival. I'm happy to say that my touring in France made me miss a lot of Ronald Reagan's long goodbye. I haven't watched as much Wimbledon early round coverage as I'd hoped I would. I have seen some of the new Six Feet Under episodes. I saw a German food movie called Mostly Martha. Worthy of a foodie movie festival with Big Night, Like Water for Chocolate, Babette's Feast; Eat, Drink, Man, Woman; Chocolat. I also saw a Czech film called Koyla.
