AUSTIN, Texas, October 26, 2005 — I had good intentions today. Work on my WEB journal. Eat healthier stuff.

I spent a lot of time reading old papers and waiting for my Dad to get a hearing test.

I didn't work on the journal.

I ate a sandwich and a salad. I ate Frito Chili Pie and drank a Guinness.

I watched about nine short films, too. All were better than most that I spent time screening over the summer. Of course.

Our house guest watched the same movies as we

did and we brought her back. She and another person she met are driving to Mexico tomorrow. I can't imagine doing that, but I'm not young. (Yeah, I know I drove straight through from St. Louis to Austin but that is different.)
