AUSTIN, Texas, October 30, 2005 — One thing I'm trying to do now that my three weeks away is over and the film festival is to catch up with friends. Of course, I got SuRu to do some films, our bookkeeper (and friend) one night. And we saw friends at the fund raiser and festival.

So I was lazing around enjoying it being an hour earlier than it would have been and when SuRu wanted to have brunch I agreed. We went to Chez Zee and I had eggs benedict and ate a whole croissant with butter and drank a bunch of coffee.

I worked on a friend's WEB page (she's easily

pleased, thankfully, unlike some people I've done free work for. I worked a little on the journal. I needed to work out since I skipped yesterday. But I had to let my food settle, didn't I?

I went at last to the gym. I did fifty mintues on the recumbent bike and a few other things. Better than nothing, I always say.

We were invited to a friend's house in the evening. It's was her birthday but the allegedly real occasion was to get together because a friend is in town. My dad was there and a few other people. We ate a great meal and talked the talented among the group into singing and playing the piano. It seemed late when we left, but it was only nine since the party started early. We came home and watched TV. TV, the second biggest time waster after writing in an online journal about watching TV.
